Melissa Dye is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider with more than two decades of experience in behavioral health, counseling, and human services. She is licensed to practice in Virginia and Tennessee, and is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities achieve meaningful and lasting change.
Melissa currently provides outpatient therapy services, working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Her clinical expertise includes comprehensive psychosocial, substance use, and psychosexual assessments, as well as trauma-informed counseling. She utilizes a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, mindfulness, relapse prevention, and solution-focused techniques. She also provides expert testimony and specialized psychosexual assessment and treatment.
Throughout her career, Melissa has held diverse clinical and leadership roles across outpatient, inpatient, and community-based settings. She has served as a clinical supervisor, behavioral health leader, and therapist working in collaboration with medical providers, court systems, and multidisciplinary teams. Her experience includes working with individuals involved in the federal and state court systems, providing both treatment and expert evaluation.
Melissa earned her Master of Social Work from Radford University. Driven by a passion for service, Melissa is committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment where individuals can heal, grow, and reach their full potential.
